Its stems and leaves look like white Artemisia annua, its flowers are yellow, and its pods grow like fine hemp pods. It is as big as a sheath, and has four or five petals. It is black after July and August, different from all grasses. It belongs to Artemisia annua. Its stems, leaves and seeds are commonly used, but no roots are used. [Zang Qi said] the southern people use seedlings and the northern soil uses roots. They grow for trees, such as Cornus, which is two or three feet high. It is poisonous and kills insects. Mountain people use it to wash scabies.
