[Hongjing said] Qiao mountain is the burial place of the Yellow Emperor, in Shangjun. Today, Loulu is produced in a short way. At that time, people took seedlings and named the root Luli root. Bitter wine can cure scabies after grinding. [Gong said] this medicine is commonly known as Artemisia annua. Its stems and leaves look like white Artemisia annua, its flowers are yellow, and its pods grow like fine hemp pods. It is as big as a sheath, and has four or five petals. It is black after July and August, different from all grasses. It belongs to Artemisia annua. Its stems, leaves and seeds are commonly used, but no roots are used. [Zang Qi said] the southern people use seedlings and the northern soil uses roots. They grow for trees, such as Cornus, which is two or three feet high. It is poisonous and kills insects. Mountain people use it to wash scabies.

The skin is toxic, with acne, gangrene and hemorrhoids, dampness and arthralgia, and lower milk.
