I watched tens of thousands of people in Sichuan and Chongqing spontaneously build a great wall of flesh and blood to stop raging mountain fires with a little light. I was moved to cry for several times.
On a whim, I will talk about Sichuan and Chongqing with you today.
Sichuan can be either a provincial administrative unit or a cultural circle in a broad sense.
Since ancient times, Sichuan culture covers not only administrative Sichuan Province (excluding gan’a Liang), but also Hanzhong, Ankang and Shangluo in Shaanxi Province in the north, Zunyi in Guizhou Province in the South and Chongqing in the West.
There is an old saying that “before the world is in chaos, Sichuan is in chaos, but after the world is in peace, it is difficult for Sichuan to be in peace”. Because the cultural circle of Sichuan is too large, the division and balance of Sichuan has become an administrative necessity.
Just imagine that a group of 140 million people who speak the same Southwest Mandarin and share a common cultural identity, a land of abundance with everything from military industry, grain, minerals and electricity, are engaged in economic internal circulation behind closed doors. Once another Zhuge Kongming type figure appears, which central government is not afraid.
The interesting thing about history is that the model is always easy to be reproduced. The 140 million Sichuan Cultural Circle directly created by the combination of mountains and rivers seems to be the 1.4 billion China under the Yalta system.
Hanzhong, Ankang and Shangluo in the north of greater Sichuan correspond to the outer northeast, Outer Mongolia and tangnuwulianghai in the north of Greater China. Zunyi in the south of greater Sichuan corresponds to the south of Tibet in the south of Greater China. Ganaliang in the west is Kashmir. Chongqing in the East, which was separated into a municipality directly under the central government in 1997, corresponds to Taiwan separated by the Strait since 1949.

Only then can the central government dare to make the largest transfer payment to Sichuan and the largest per capita industrial investment to Chongqing.
Instead of complaining and roast, it is better to learn and apply the rules and think about making the rules work for yourself.
For example, from the perspective of the central government, constantly playing the Sichuan Chongqing mutual system to train basic skills is to prepare for one day becoming a world police; From the perspective of Sichuan, thinking about how to promote the economic integration of Sichuan and Chongqing and do a good job in “one Sichuan, two systems” is also a kind of policy training for our peaceful recovery of the treasure island in the future.
Back to this mountain fire in Sichuan and Chongqing, in the face of the common disaster, tens of thousands of people in Sichuan and Chongqing once again displayed the spirit of the Sichuan army more than 80 years ago. In the long night, these little lights were connected, which extinguished the wild fire in the mountains and ignited the brotherhood in Sichuan and Chongqing again.
Perhaps one day in the distant future, in the face of a huge disaster, compatriots on both sides of the strait with blood thicker than water will also abandon their differences and unite. Armed police officers and soldiers are transported on the landing ship, and medical personnel are transported on the transport plane. With the cheering and encouragement of the people of the whole country, the two sides of the Strait will also have the opportunity to stand hand in hand again, like Sichuan and Chongqing, and face the future.
