Dispel the fog of the millennium: uncover the mystery of the death of Huo Qubing, the God of war

?????????????????????

?????????????????????

(Huo Qubing)

At the age of 17, he went to Dingxiang twice and won the championship in the army; At the age of 19, he made three expeditions to the west of the river and opened up territory; At the age of 21, he was in command of the three armed forces and traversed Mobei.

Huo Qubing, a name that represents youth, courage and miracles.

He commanded the army to fight with the Huns several times in his life. Every battle was deep in danger and fought alone. Every battle was a victory with few enemies!

However, the beloved son of heaven suddenly came to an end at the age of 23. Like a meteor, it streaks across the night sky, dazzling, but it comes and goes in a hurry, which has made countless descendants sigh for thousands of years!

Sima Qian, who was at the same time as Huo Qubing, described the funeral of Huo Qubing in great detail in the historical records, from the origin of the funeral team to their clothes, to the shape of the tomb, and even the meaning of the posthumous title, but there was not a word about why this famous invincible general would die early in his prime.

If someone thinks that the Xiongnu was no longer able to fight when Huo Qubing died, Huo Qubing’s death had no impact on the historical process at all, so historians can remember his death or not. This statement is really wrong.

The historical records of the Xiongnu biographies recorded that after the war in Mobei, both sides were injured. The Xiongnu left envoys and relatives, and the Han Dynasty sent Ren Changchu envoys to negotiate terms with the Xiongnu. However, the Huns not only refused to accept the conditions of the Han side, but detained the envoys as me, so Emperor Wu decided to launch another war against Hungary. “The Han side recovered the soldiers and horses” and actively prepared for the war. However, at this time, Huo Qubing, as the chief general, died suddenly, and the second Mobei war, which was likely to completely destroy the Hun forces, died prematurely.

The sudden death of Huo Qubing was of great significance to both Han and Hungary.

As for the death of Huo Qubing, the imperial court will certainly announce a cause of death, otherwise how to explain it to the soldiers who are about to go to war. However, Sima Qian actually missed this. He went out of his way to elaborate on Huo Qubing’s funeral, but he only missed the most critical main reason, which was of no importance.

Looking at Sima Qian’s discussion of the Han Hungarian war, it is generally the same. He collected a lot of information from the bottom, but most of these information is superficial and trivial. Sima Qian didn’t write down the decision-making strategies and major policies that really worked for the war, which made people feel that they were regardless of importance, extreme and narrow-minded.

However, this is not the result of Sima Qian’s choice. On the contrary, it is the result of his no choice. He has no way to learn these important news at all, so he can only record history from the bottom and surface scene. In the final analysis, Sima Qian was just an ordinary person at that time, not omnipotent. He just described that turbulent history from the perspective of an ordinary intellectual. You can only remember lightly, but cannot write heavily, because many important things and hidden things are not known by him, a little man.

More than 2000 years have passed, and later generations seem to be even more unable to know that Huo Qubing’s death has become a mystery for thousands of years!

However, later generations can’t help but make various guesses about Huo Qubing’s death, and the most important is the theory of death.

This theory originated from Chu Shaosun in the Western Han Dynasty. He made a supplementary note in the chronology of Hou people since the founding of the Yuan Dynasty. He said that Huo Qubing was dead, but there was no record of what he was sick.

This passage comes from the memorial played by Huo Guang to the emperor, which is well documented. Chu Shaosun doesn’t need to lie, so it’s basically credible. In other words, the official saying is death.

However, Huo Qubing is a military general who can ride and shoot on the battlefield. He often takes the lead in the battlefield. His physical quality is too strong to be weak and sick; At the age of 23, when he is in the prime of his life, his body is still in the rising stage, and he cannot become ill from overwork; If there is a plague, why does it not spread widely? Why did the general who fought in Mobei with him not get infected? Why is the incubation period as long as two years?

The theory of death is hard to convince. Besides, if it is really death, why doesn’t Sima Qian remember it? Why did he forget so many details but miss the main reason?

A reasonable explanation is that the theory of death is just an excuse. At that time, no one believed it at all, and Sima Qian is no exception. With a responsible attitude towards historical facts, he did not write the false cause of death in his historical books. However, he had neither the ability nor the interest to explore the real cause of death of Huo Qubing, so such a vacancy was formed.

If Huo Qubing died abnormally, who killed him? Why kill him? Why should the imperial court cover up?

Open the historical records, a myriad of things, as if in a mess, there is no way to start, and many places cannot be explained. However, if we can find a main line, can we straighten out this mess?

The answer is yes. When an important person who has been neglected for a long time surfaced, all the problems were solved.

This person is Prince Wei Liu Ju.

The reason why he was ignored was that when Huo Qubing died, Prince Wei was only 12 years old and just a child. He had limited intelligence and ability and could not do many earth shattering events.

But don’t forget, this child is not isolated. He represents the interests of a large group of Wei family who are closely related to his interests. He represents the interests of a series of politicians who want to profit from him, such as the prince Shaofu, the prince Taifu and so on.

It is necessary to clarify the relationship between the crown prince and Wei here. The crown prince and the Wei family are closely related, and they are all one. The crown prince needs the support of the Wei family, and the Wei family needs the position of the crown prince to consolidate.

In the later period of Emperor Wu, he may very much want to separate the prince from the Wei family. He doesn’t want the prince to rely too much on his relatives, so he made a lot of efforts to suppress the Wei family and want the prince to be independent. However, facts have proved that the crown prince and the Wei family cannot be separated at all, and they do not want to be separated. In this case, the crown prince and the Wei family suffer both losses and prosperity.

The main line of clearing the fog is the interests of the crown prince and the entire Wei group.

Let’s take a look at some historical facts before and after Huo Qubing’s death.

In 119 BC, during the great war in Mobei, Li Guang committed suicide and dared to stab Wei Qing. Emperor Wu secretly respected Huo and restrained the guards.

In 118 BC, Li Guang invaded the cemetery from his younger brother, Prime Minister Li Cai, and committed suicide. Zhuang qingzhai, the prince’s younger Fu, succeeded the prime minister. Huo Qubing shot Li Gan.

In March 117 BC, Huo Qubing repeatedly asked Liu Che to make the third prince king. In April, three kings were set up, and Emperor Wu spoiled King Ji’s wife and died. In September, huo qu died of illness.

In 116 BC, the eldest son of Wei Qing, Wei and his wife, were removed from the Marquis for the crime of making imperial edicts.

In 115 BC, Zhang Tang, the censor doctor, was framed by the prime minister Zhuang qingzhai and his three Changshi and committed suicide. Emperor Wu executed Zhuang qingzhai and his three Changshi. The crown prince and his fu Zhao Zhou succeeded the prime minister.

In just a few years, the imperial court had a violent shock, and two prime ministers, a general and a censor, were killed, and three princes were enfeoffed. There have been great personnel changes in both internal and external dynasties, which include complex political struggles and are full of blood.

In this series of changes, the only benefit is the crown prince, that is, the Wei group.

Let’s analyze the situation at that time on the following points:

1? Why Emperor Wu respected Huo and suppressed Wei after the Mobei war, and the relationship between Huo Qubing and Wei.

After the Mobei war, Huo Department received a very high reward, and the Ministry of health fell day by day, one at the height of the sun and the other at the end of the West. With this development, Huo Qubing has a great potential to replace Wei Qing. Wei Huo formed a sharp contradiction in interests.

Wei Qing is modest and polite, gentle and magnanimous. He values love for his family and righteousness for his friends. Look at the generals around him during the Mobei war. Gongsun Ao was his lifesaver, Gongsun he was his eldest brother-in-law, Cao Xiang was his stepson, and Li Guang was sent to him by the Emperor

This is his personality. He never says no to his relatives or friends. He carries too many family interests and is the most ideal protector of the Wei family.

Huo Qubing, on the other hand, employed people in a completely different style. Almost all of his capable men were Xiongnu generals. The selected soldiers were low-level officers who could ride and shoot. Everything was focused on the battlefield. There were no relatives and friends with relatives, no human feelings to say, and even the benefactors who had always been appointed by the emperor could refuse.

This way ensured his continuous victory on the battlefield, but he lost the support of his royal relatives headed by Wei and his aristocratic family.

The rise of Huo Qubing benefited all outsiders, and the Wei family did not get the slightest benefit. It can be said that although Huo Qubing comes from the branch of Wei, he does not represent the interests of Wei.

Why did Emperor Wu secretly respect Huo and suppress Wei? It is because Huo Qubing is an isolated individual, and no matter how high his status is, it is also granted by the emperor. He did not form an interest group. Those who followed Huo Qubing to achieve prosperity and wealth are people at the bottom, most of whom are Huns. These people have no power in the Dynasty, so Huo Qubing has no possibility of forming gangs and does not pose a political threat.

However, Wei Qing is different. Although Wei Qing has always been cautious, he bears the interests of too many people. These people come together and have a huge force. Emperor Wu must find a way to control him by controlling Wei with Huo.

When Huo Qubing was granted Marquis as a general, he was a icing on the cake of the Wei family. When he threatened the status of Wei Qing, the guardian God of Wei, he was the enemy of the whole Wei family.

If we say that after the Mobei war, Wei Qing was faced with mass rebellion, Huo Qubing was faced with Pro divorce. The beneficiaries of the Wei family are absolutely unwilling to see Huo Qubing replace Wei Qing. They will try their best to keep Wei Qing.

2? The incident of Li Gan injuring Wei Qing and its background

Historical records: Li Gan attacked king Zuoxian of Hu from the Hussar general, fought hard, captured the drum flag of King Zuoxian, beheaded many people, granted the Marquis of the grand pass, ate 200 households in the city, and made it a doctor’s order on behalf of Guang. Suddenly, he resented the great general, and Qing hated his father, but he wounded the great general, and the great general hid it.

From this account, we can see that after the end of the Mobei war, Li Gan was granted the title of marquis in the Shanhaiguan Pass and served as a doctor’s order. “Qingzhi” Li Gan injured Wei Qing because of his father’s revenge. This year is 119 BC.

Li Gan risked his life to go to Wei Qing to fight because of his father’s hatred, which is in line with the identity of a soldier who just came down from the battlefield and the simple personality of the Li family. Wei Qing didn’t make a statement afterwards, but hid the matter, which was completely in line with his personality of always being kind and yielding.

We don’t know whether Wei Qing’s magnanimity made Li Gan feel guilty, but whether Li Gan later hated Wei Qing or not, his move was enough to lay a curse for the decline of the entire Li family.

Li Gan is the son of Li Guang, the subordinate of Huo Qubing during the Mobei war, and the doctor order of the imperial court. But he also has an important identity that has been ignored. He is also the nephew of the current Prime Minister Li Cai.

Li Cai was once the Ministry of Wei Qing, but at this time, he was the prime minister. He was Li Guang’s subordinate brother. Li Guang committed suicide. Li Gan identified Wei Qing as his enemy of killing his father, and adopted a radical way. There was bloodshed. What does Li Cai, the prime minister, mean to Wei?

The rightful and powerful Wei family may not pay attention to Li Cai, but can they face a senior Li official who may hold a grudge against them so calmly when the river is declining and the emperor is gradually snubbing them?

3? The death of Li Cai and Li Gan

Prime Minister Li Cai committed suicide in March of the next year. His charge was to occupy a piece of land in the former imperial mausoleum.

A very funny reason is that Li Cai is neither a fool nor a madman, and there is no sign that he is a money fan who wants money or not. The world is so big. As a prime minister, if he wants to occupy a piece of land, why can’t he? Why should he invade the cemetery of the former Emperor? Even a three-year-old child knows that it is a capital crime. Why should Prime Minister Li take great risks to occupy that land? What great benefits did he get from occupying this land?

Politics does not talk about causal logic. Some people have conclusive evidence that he committed such a crime of treachery. The emperor can only send people to investigate. Before he was sent to prison, Li Cai committed suicide. In the final analysis, he is just a military general with mediocre intelligence and is simply vulnerable to complex political struggles.

Zhuang qingzhai, the crown prince’s Taifu, succeeded the prime minister, that is, the crown prince was the beneficiary of this political struggle.

In the same year, Huo Qubing suddenly shot Li Gan in front of Emperor Wu at Ganquan palace hunting ground because Li Gan stabbed Wei Qing.

The incident is full of doubts.

First of all, killing people when hunting in Ganquan palace. The location of the killing is too strange. There must be many royal guards on the scene, which cannot be kept secret, especially in the army. The Li family has been a general for generations, and Li Guang loves nurses and soldiers. The Li family has a certain influence in the army. Huo Qubing’s doing so has a bad impact, which will cause many people’s disgust and even anger. Why does he want to kill here? What benefits did he get from killing here?

Secondly, Li Gan was a doctor at that time. He was one of the nine Qings. Even if he was a subordinate of Huo Qubing in the army, he was not fighting outside the Great Wall at this time. At this time, Huo Qubing had no right to execute Li Gan privately. When Wei Qing was outside the Great Wall, he didn’t dare to execute the Ministry without permission, because it would be a taboo. Only the emperor had the power to kill people. Huo Qubing obviously acted ultra vires in front of the emperor, which was really a taboo for his ministers. Why did he commit such a taboo? Is there no other way to deal with Li Gan?

Also, there is a long time between Huo Qubing killing Li Gan and Li Gan injuring Wei Qing. Why? Since he could ignore the comments in the army and the feelings of the emperor, why did he have to endure such a long time before starting? What worries him?

It doesn’t make sense to say that Huo Qubing’s killing Li Gan was premeditated for a long time, because the method he adopted is so stupid that it won’t do him any good, and it will also bring him all kinds of potential evil consequences. There are thousands of better methods in the world. Why did Huo Qubing, who is extremely smart, think about it and choose this method that is harmful to him but not beneficial?

If it weren’t for the murder that has been brewing for a long time, then this incident would be an emergency. After Wei Qing was injured, he blocked the news. Huo Qubing never knew about it. He just learned about Li Gan’s injury to Wei Qing before hunting in Ganquan palace, or when hunting. According to his resolute personality on the battlefield, an arrow took Li Gan’s life.

Why did Huo Qubing suddenly know the news? Who revealed the news to him? Why choose a hunting ground? What is the purpose of the person who disclosed the information?

Excluding accidental factors, if someone deliberately disclosed this matter to Huo Qubing, this person must have a very close relationship with Wei Qing, otherwise he would not know that Wei Qing had been injured by Li Gan. He chose the hunting ground, first, because there are many people here, and second, because there is enough space here. Huo Qubing can kill with his bow and arrow very conveniently, just as he kills on the battlefield.

The purpose of this person to disclose this matter is obvious, killing people with a knife!

If Huo Qubing did it himself under impulse, it would be naturally the best. If Huo Qubing didn’t hurry to do it but told Emperor Wu about it, the designer’s goal was also achieved, and Li Gan would undoubtedly die.

If someone deliberately wants to kill Li Gan, why not carry out it immediately and endure it for such a long time?

This problem is not difficult to explain as long as it is related to the Li Cai incident. Li Cai died in March of this year, when the spring was warm and the flowers were blooming. Li Gan died for a few months, which is not recorded in historical books, but he died when Emperor Wu was hunting. This time should not be winter. At that time, the beginning of the calendar was winter, and Li Gan’s death should be after spring.

According to common sense, Li Gan’s death is likely to be next to Li Cai’s death, because to deal with the Li family, of course, it is first to deal with Li Cai, who is the prime minister. Killing Li Gan is just a small matter of lifting a finger, so there is no need to rush for a moment.

Li Gan, Li Cai, uncle and nephew died together this year, and the Li family was uprooted. There were almost no adult males in the Li family, and no one would take revenge on the Wei family anymore.

Huo Qubing executed Li Gan in an extreme way. There are no few people who sympathize with the Li family, which is bound to bring him a lot of trouble. Even Emperor Wu will have some dissatisfaction with him. Isn’t this the result Wei wants to see?

Kill two birds with one stone, and Wei won a great victory.

It is surprising that after the decline of the Li family, Li Gan’s sons and daughters later got the opportunity to get close to the prince and were favored by the prince.

How can the children of the Li family enter the prince’s east palace without being introduced? The introducer is likely to send the children of the Li family in under the slogan of protecting Li Gan’s orphan and preventing Huo Qubing from killing again.

Huo Qubing’s killing of Li Gan was an open secret at that time. There must be many witnesses in the hunting ground of Ganquan palace. Even Sima Qian knew it. Li Gan’s family could not have known it. The Revenge of killing his father is bitter. The crown prince keeps two enemies of Huo Qubing by his side, raising and spoiling them. What does he want to do?

4? Huo Qubing, please set up the mystery of the third prince

Huo Qubing has been leading the army and fighting since he was a teenager, and he has hardly participated in the imperial politics. However, a very strange thing happened in the sixth year of Yuanshou. He took the lead twice and asked Emperor Wu to register the three princes as king. This matter received the full support of the Prime Minister and the censor Doctor Zhang Tang, and the momentum was huge, and the civil and military forces of the Manchu Dynasty joined in.

The enfeoffment of the prince seems to have nothing to do with Huo Qubing. Why should Huo Qubing be the initiator and leader? Was he so bored when he didn’t fight that he got involved in his own business?

When we catch the main line of Prince Wei, this strange thing is not surprising at all. The crown prince is the biggest beneficiary of the Third Prince being crowned king.

Empress Wei Zifu has long been old and out of favor. Emperor Wu’s favorite at this time is Mrs. Wang. Wang Fu has a son, which has threatened the crown prince’s status.

After the war of Monan, Wei Qing didn’t get any benefits, but got a reward of a thousand dollars. At this time, one of his doormen persuaded him to send a gift to Mrs. Wang’s family. Wei Qing did so and divided half of the reward to Mrs. Wang’s family. When Emperor Wu learned about this, he immediately promoted the doorman, which shows the influence of Mrs. Wang.

The actions of Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty are very similar to those of Emperor Qin Shihuang in many aspects. People always like to compare Emperor Qin and Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty.

After the unification of China, Emperor Qinshihuang made many political reforms, the most important of which was to replace the enfeoffment system with the system of counties.

Qin Shihuang had a total of more than 20 sons, all of whom were not enfeoffed to other places, but stayed with him, which made the palace Wei struggle extremely fierce. Finally, one of his youngest sons forced the prince to death and took the throne.

From the perspective of Prince Wei Liu Ju, the most afraid thing is that Emperor Wu followed the example of Emperor Qin Shihuang and did not enfegate the prince. People around the prince constantly reminded him not to repeat the mistakes of Fusu.

Under the enfeoffment system, the enfeoffment monarchs enjoy a high degree of autonomy. They can form an army, collect taxes, formulate laws, appoint officials, and issue currency in their own enfeoffment country. Their positions are attacked by father and son, just like a country within a state.

Emperor Wu has always been committed to eliminating the influence of enfeoffment. From the bottom of his heart, he is unwilling to create a state within a state.

Huo Qubing twice asked Liu Che to set up the third prince as the king. The first time was probably just an oral request, but Liu Che ignored it. Then Huo Qubing wrote a letter, and then asked Liu Che to set up the prince as the king. Emperor Wu had no choice but to order the censor to discuss it.

Unexpectedly, this discussion brought about the concurrence of the ministers, with great momentum. Emperor Wu originally did not want to be crowned king, but there were ministers outside who asked to invite again, and there were sick Mrs. Wang crying. Finally, he finally compromised and set up three Royal sons as kings in April of this year.

At a certain age, the prince who sealed the king must leave the capital to his own fief. From then on, he is farther and farther away from the imperial power, and it is difficult to pose a threat to the crown prince’s status. Shortly thereafter, Mrs. Wang also died.

The battle of seizing the throne in the palace ended with the prince’s victory.

Huo Qubing took the lead in this matter, and the ministers seconded it, but why did Wei Qing, a prominent figure, never express his attitude? Is it to avoid suspicion? Why doesn’t Huo Qubing avoid suspicion?

Huo Qubing is not a seasoned politician. The request for the three kings cannot be his own sudden whim one day. From the secondment of later ministers, it cannot be a person’s sudden whim. This matter has a deep political background and has been premeditated for a long time.

It is worth mentioning that Huo Qubing was just an initiator and leader. Later, the ministers invited him again, but he did not join in. It is completely a posture of staying out of the matter, which shows that he is not keen on this matter.

As I have said before, after the Mobei war, what Huo Qubing lacked most was family affection, and what he wanted to redeem most must also be family affection. At this time, if someone told him that there was one thing that was very beneficial to Wei, but he needed his full help, Huo Qubing at this time would be duty bound to stand up and be the leader.

5? The death of Huo Qubing and the rectification of Wei and his wife

In September of the sixth year of Yuanshou (117 BC), Huo Qubing died, and in the first year of Yuanding (116 BC), Wei Qing’s eldest son, Wei and his wife, lost the Marquis because of Jiao Zhao. Is there a necessary connection between the two in time?

At that time, people took October as the first month of the year, that is to say, Huo Qubing died at the end of that year, closely connected with the second year. The shortest possible difference between the death of Huo Qubing and the loss of Marquis of Wei and his wife is only one day, and the farthest is only one year.

According to historical records, “since the death of the Hussars general, the eldest son of the general Yichun Hou and his wife sat down and lost their marquis.”

There is no doubt that these two things are closely connected in time.

Let’s look at the charges of Wei and his wife, coercion.

Coercion, that is, falsely preaching the imperial edict, has very serious consequences and needs to take great risks. Then why did Wei and his wife want to coercion? He took strange risks to correct, which could not be for trivial things, nor for trivial people. Then who was the object of his false imperial edict? What kind of edict did he fake?

Such a serious crime, no matter how big a person, as long as it is stained with these two words, the death penalty cannot escape. Why did Wei and his wife just cut off the Marquis and not die? With Wei Qing’s weight in Emperor Wu’s heart at that time, can he protect this son who committed a capital crime?

Huo Qubing was only 23 years old this year. According to common sense, Wei and his wife are likely to be only teenagers. How capable can such a teenager be? How high can it set off? What qualifications does he have for coercion?

Will he just be a small pawn that is used and manipulated by others?

6? Death of Zhang Tang

Zhang Tang was a very important minister in Emperor Wu’s Dynasty. In those days, he dealt with the witchcraft case of Queen Chen, suppressed the rebellion case of the king of Huainan, revised the laws and regulations of the central court, and first put forward the counting car.

His role is not limited to a certain field. Almost every major political move of Emperor Wu’s early stage has Zhang Tang’s figure. It can be said that he is both a decision-maker and an executor, integrating the identity of both inside and outside Korea.

What kind of person is Zhang Tang? In addition to being ruthless and making many enemies, he was also very honest, and his family had no money left after his death.

Although Zhang Tang does not love money, his pursuit of power is fanatical, which is bound to affect the interests of Wei. Specifically, Zhang Tang and the prime minister have interests and ambitions to seize the position of prime minister, and the prime minister is the prince Shaofu, which is closely related to the interests of Wei.

Emperor Wu was very dependent on Zhang Tang, and even went to visit him at his home when he was ill. However, feudal emperors were suspicious and fickle. When someone criticized Zhang Tang again and again, Emperor Wu wavered and sent him to prison for review.

Zhang Tang was a famous cruel official. He offended too many people at ordinary times, and was soon attacked by the crowd. Finally, he committed suicide in prison and died. Before he died, he sent a message to Emperor Wu, saying that the person who framed him was three long histories.

The long history is the long history of the prime minister, that is to say, they are all the people of Zhuang qingzhai, the prime minister and crown prince.

As soon as Zhang Tang died, Emperor Wu immediately regretted it. It was very painful, but it was irretrievable. All he could do was to kill three Changshi angrily. The prime minister Zhuang qingzhai later committed suicide in prison.

This is a typical power struggle, and it is still the prince Wei’s party that ultimately benefits. Although a young Fu died, the new prime minister Zhao Zhou is the prince Tai Fu. It can be said that the Wei’s forces have not been hit, but they are likely to benefit from the power vacuum caused by the death of Zhang Tang. In this event, Emperor Wu was hit.

7? Who is the real murderer?

A series of political events, a series of personnel changes and power changes are enough to prove the complexity and intensity of the political struggle during this period. Wei has always been at the core of the storm and has always been firmly in the upper hand.

Uncle and nephew Li, who regarded Wei Qing as an enemy, died. The three princes who brought pressure to the prince were enfeoffed. Mrs. Wang, who competed with Wei Zifu, died. Huo Qubing, who threatened Wei Qing’s status, died. Zhang Tang, who competed with the prince for power, also died.

If all this is not a coincidence, then Wei’s means are really terrible, clever and terrible.

Wei represents a large group of people, a huge vested interest group, not a specific person. But in this group, there must be a leader and a main planner of the plot.

This person must be extremely enthusiastic about power and ruthless; This person must be very strong and of high status, so that he has enough means and weight to be competent for many complex political struggles.

Will this man be general Wei Qing? If it is, then the generosity and benevolence he showed and the Renshan concession are all disguises. Such a Wei Qing is too terrible. But is it possible? You know, it’s not difficult to camouflage for a while, and it’s impossible to camouflage for a lifetime.

Can this person be queen Wei Zifu? It is difficult for us to connect that insidious and powerful person who does everything to achieve his goal with this helpless poor woman.

The prince is young, Wei Qing’s eldest son is also young, Gongsun he Pingyong, who else is there in the Wei family?

Besides these people, there is another powerful person in the Wei family, that is Princess Pingyang.

Princess Pingyang was the eldest sister of Emperor Wu, and her mother was a powerful role who was very good at the palace court struggle. She stood out from the fierce and complex political struggle, sat on the throne of the queen, and also sent her son Liu Che to the throne.

The adult Princess of Pingyang married the Duke of Pingyang, and her name came from it. Pingyang was far away from the capital Chang’an and was cut off from politics. (Princess Pingyang must have been to Pingyang County, otherwise she wouldn’t have met the Wei family, who was born and raised in Pingyang County. It’s enough to prove that the two generations of the Wei family have had an affair with Pingyang County officials.)

If Princess Pingyang was an ordinary woman, she would probably spend her whole life in Pingyang County, but she was obviously not such a person. She seized an opportunity to return to Chang’an, stayed for a long time, and got the opportunity to get close to the emperor.

After returning to Chang’an, she began to deliberately try to please the emperor and gain political capital. At that time, Queen Chen had no children, so she chose a dozen good family women at home, ready to dedicate them to her brother who was the emperor at any time. Emperor Wu finally took a fancy to Wei Zifu, who was humble. Before leaving, Princess Pingyang stroked Wei Zifu’s back and said, “that’s expensive, I hope I don’t forget.” Its purpose is really obvious.

Although Wei Zifu entered the palace, her position was still humble. Queen Chen suppressed her. She could only be an ordinary maid in waiting, and she could not approach the emperor at all. At this time, Wei Zifu’s family was still servants in Pingyang mansion, and their status would not change.

Wei Zifu was not very young when he entered the palace, and her two sisters had already reached the age of marriage. How did the humble Wei family daughter get on with the powerful and aristocratic children of the current dynasty? There is no doubt that Princess Pingyang must have made great efforts to build the team of Wei.

At first, Wei Zifu was at an absolute disadvantage in the palace Wei struggle. However, this humble and weak woman miraculously turned over after that, and finally defeated queen Chen with strong backing. If there was no expert behind her, who could believe it?

Those who can smoothly enter the deep palace and often see Wei Zifu can’t find a second person except Princess Pingyang.

After a bloody and cruel witchcraft case, Queen Chen was exiled to the changmen palace, and Wei won a great victory. After the witchcraft case, Queen Chen’s mother Liu Chuan found Princess Pingyang and cried to the effect that Liu Che ascended the throne because of me, but now he treats my daughter like this. Please comment on this reason. At this time, Princess Pingyang never mentioned the witchcraft case, but only replied: it’s not because the queen has no children, the subtext seems to be saying, don’t blame us for being ungrateful, or blame your own daughter for being bad.

It can be seen from this that the so-called witchcraft is just a tool for political struggle. Even without this, Liu Chuan and Chen Ajiao can’t fight the old princess Pingyang, and the abolition of Queen Chen has long been doomed.

Two years later, Wei Zifu gave birth to the prince and was made queen. Wei Qing made meritorious contributions and was granted the Marquis of Changping.

Wei’s development speed is too fast, especially after Wei Qing became a general, Princess Pingyang felt that she could not completely control Wei, so she did not hesitate to commit herself to marry her former servant. Wei’s luxurious chariot was built by her, and she will never allow it to get out of her control.

The interests of the Wei family are the interests of Princess Pingyang. When the Wei family encounters a crisis, Princess Pingyang will protect the interests of the Wei family at all costs.

Wei Qing is the most important pillar of the whole Wei Group, and also the husband of Princess Pingyang. Therefore, when Huo Qubing threatens Wei Qing’s position, the one who hates Huo Qubing most must be princess Pingyang. The one who wants Huo Qubing to die most must also be princess Pingyang. The terrible thing is that this princess is fully capable and has the means to do this.

8? Why is Huo Qubing’s death so secretive? Did Emperor Wu know?

With a long history and limited historical data, the specific cause of death of Huo Qubing can no longer be guessed, and can only be imagined by novelists.

It can’t be a bloody assassination, because in this case, Emperor Wu will be furious and shake the world. It is unlikely to cause accidents for him, such as drowning and falling off a cliff. In this way, the official will no longer have to think of an excuse for his death.

If it is poisoned, it looks like death on the surface, but does Emperor Wu believe it? A vigorous general was preparing for the battle. Suddenly, he said he was ill and couldn’t get up. There were too many flaws. It’s easy to believe this move against women and children who are weak. Moreover, if Huo Qubing was easily poisoned, he would have been poisoned by the Huns who hated him deeply.

Will someone induce him to commit suicide? You know, people’s words are not only awesome, sometimes they can also kill people. Their wisdom is far better than sword poison.

Huo Qubing’s character is flawed. He is quiet and arrogant. It is conceivable that such a person has few friends. He is also unpopular in Chaozhong and has a bad reputation. Most of the soldiers in the army are Huns. The reason why they work for him is only for fame and wealth, and they may not have any deep feelings. After the Mobei war, the people of the Wei family were almost equal to their enemies and had no family affection for him. Even Wei Qing might have a grudge against him. Huo Qubing doesn’t seem to be very close to his biological mother. Chen has been seeking to renew the seal, but he hasn’t been eager to help. Although he recognized his biological father before the Mobei war, his father did not return to Chang’an with him, and he was only surrounded by a young brother.

Stubborn and arrogant teenagers are most likely to go to extremes. Geniuses are lonely, which is especially true of Huo Qubing. Although he is a noble teenager, he may not be happy.
