A good friend is on temporary duty in the Hong Kong Liaison Office, which has just ended in Daqing. I had a chat last night.
Colleagues in Hong Kong are very hard. At first, it was for the election of the chief executive, and then came the celebration. The closed-loop operation lasted for more than half a year.
In his words, either closed in the office or closed at home, every half a month, so back and forth.
However, no one complained, but his heart was full of pride and full of motivation.
After all, this year is the 25th anniversary, and every 5 and every 10 is Daqing. Moreover, Hong Kong has changed from chaos to governance. This year, the election is completed, and the new team elected is full of motivation. The head came again to inspect and express condolences, and everything was renewed.
Everyone is in the system. Although the income is relatively small, it is also a major concern of the people all over the country to be able to work for their feelings. This sense of pride and gain can’t be exchanged for much money.
By the way, I talked with him about my feelings about Hong Kong. Although it is only half a year, his understanding of Hong Kong, from paper analysis in the past to his personal experience now, is obviously much deeper than before.
The 1997 year of Hong Kong’s return coincided with the peak of manufacturing transfer. In the past, the low-end manufacturing industry transferred from Europe and the United States gradually shifted to the mainland.
In this golden period when the mainland is fully open and fully integrated with the west, Hong Kong has enjoyed unique geographical advantages, and the high-end service industry represented by finance has taken off rapidly.
At that time, the mainland, which was still to be further opened up, needed Hong Kong very much, and needed to express the greatest goodwill, so it did not deeply intervene in Hong Kong affairs, even though it knew that the British and Americans had laid a mine.
Therefore, the SAR government at that time was ostensibly responsible for the operation of order in Hong Kong, but the operation of Hong Kong in the past
Logic has not changed fundamentally.
From the perspective of Hong Kong itself, because of its capital advantages, Hong Kong has monopolized the foreign economic and trade window of the mainland and has received a lot of dividends in the financial and service industries.
Because this money is too easy to earn, Hong Kong, intoxicated in the gentle countryside, has gradually become indomitable and stagnant in the free capitalism instilled by the United States and Britain.
At that time, Hong Kong really thought that its success was because it was the son of God and the advantage of the system. It didn’t thank the mainland for the dividends of the times.
As for the hard-earned manufacturing industry and high-tech that requires a lot of research and development investment, the local elites in Hong Kong look down on it, and it is not in the development plan of Western designers for Hong Kong at all.
Therefore, Hong Kong should have missed the outlet of the Internet and high-tech manufacturing, and lost the greatest impetus for sustainable development.
This is much like Arab countries that earn too much oil money and have no intention to develop other industries.
But Arab oil is still gushing out, while the dividends of the times in Hong Kong will slowly dry up with the rise of the mainland.
Hong Kong has already slowly declined, and everyone agrees.
However, if Hong Kong can continue to maintain the signs of the financial industry, cultural industry and high-end service industry, the city still has plenty of room for prosperity.
However, Hong Kong has smashed its own signboard.
Because the contradiction with the bottom was not handled well, the living space of the bottom was excessively hollowed out, and too much burden of life was imposed on the bottom. Hong Kong was in chaos.
Of course, there are reasons for this chaos in the past, but it is still the necessity of free capitalism.
Survival of the fittest, winner takes all. But the losers will not die by themselves. They will only fight recklessly and destroy everything.
The reason why Hong Kong people embrace free capitalism is that the prosperity they experienced when they grew up was in the period of implementing free capitalism.
But in fact, what made Hong Kong prosperous was the concession of profits in the special era of the mainland, not the system itself.
But too many Hong Kong people are trapped in the false pride of the past and can’t wake up, allowing free capitalism to continue to smash their signboards, deteriorate their lives and destroy their lives.
The Central Committee can’t bear it anymore.
The reason why we use thunder is because we have Bodhisattva’s heart. Only bombarding the eardrum can wake up those who don’t want to wake up.
Moreover, you must take a sharp step in the first few steps. Otherwise, it’s time to change people. Anyone can turn away.
In a word, the future of Hong Kong must be done, not lying in the glory of the past, nor can we get everything lying down as before.
Only by understanding the original intention of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, giving everyone a place and dignity, can we find the right way out.
Free capitalism has no future.
