In Japan’s constitutional amendment, the ultimate goal of the Chinese people should be to transform the Yasukuni Shrine into a peace park!

I wrote two days ago that I am very pessimistic about the prospects of China Japan relations.

The reasons are simple: first, Japan, as the de facto “military occupying power” of the United States, seriously lacks strategic autonomy. Against the backdrop of the containment strategy adopted by the United States against China, Japan is bound to cater to and support the United States in exchange for the United States to loosen the “dog rope” around Japan’s neck;

Second, some people in Japan are also happy to see the fierce fight between China and the United States. No matter who wins or loses, Japan can continue to move towards the goal of becoming a so-called “normal country”.

For Japan’s right-wing politicians, they will never reflect on how much damage the war of aggression has brought to Asian neighbors. Their biggest regret is that Japan was defeated and “castrated” by the United States.

Before the epidemic, I was traveling in Japan. From Tokyo to Sendai, I could see everywhere the monument built to commemorate Japan’s war of aggression against foreign countries in the past few hundred years.

This is a nation that does not know shame and introspection at all.

In 1940, Japan, which was in the midst of World War II, built an “octagon universal tower” in Miyazaki Prefecture, the birthplace of the Japanese emperor family. The so-called “Hachi Yiyu”, taken from Chinese classics, can be roughly understood as Japan wants to unify the world. This tower is a true portrayal of Japan’s militarist foreign aggression and expansion ambitions.

And the cornerstone of this tower is all stolen by Japanese militarist class a war criminal itaka Hideki Shiro, who called on the Japanese army to rob and steal it from all over the world. Among the 372 stones, one came from Sakhalin Island, 123 from North Korea and 238 from China, some of which were snatched by the Japanese invaders from the great wall of China and the Zhongshan Mausoleum in Nanjing.

Today, this tower still stands in Miyazaki Prefecture. However, in order to hide people’s eyes and ears, the Japanese reinterpret it and call it the “Tower of peace”. It was from here that the torch of the 1964 Tokyo Olympic Games was transmitted in Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan.

When I met such buildings in Japan, my heart was always full of resentment. I resolutely do not take a photo with him, because I know that “Han thieves do not stand side by side”.

In recent days, China Japan relations have once again become the focus of attention of the Chinese people.

On July 8, former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was assassinated, which caused great controversy in the field of Chinese public opinion.

What I want to say is that as a Japanese right-wing politician who openly visits the Yasukuni Shrine dedicated to class a war criminals, Shinzo Abe does not deserve the sympathy of any Chinese except at the last moment of his life.

After Shinzo Abe stepped down, he not only visited the Yasukuni Shrine, but also openly shouted that “the United States and Japan support Taiwan” and “if Taiwan has something to do, it is Japan that has something to do”. Now, Taiwan is fine. He has something to do first.

Just last year, Shinzo Abe publicly announced that Japan would have good relations with Russia in order to deal with China.

When Shinzo Abe was assassinated and killed, Chinese officials expressed condolences and condolences, which reflects China’s mind, diplomatic etiquette and humanitarian principles as a big country. In the context of the game between China and the United States, it is also beneficial for China to do the work of Japan’s Fumio Kishida government.

However, we should also understand the Chinese people’s antipathy towards Shinzo Abe.

On the contrary, those who abused love because of the assassination of Shinzo Abe, and even wantonly attacked their compatriots, and those who forgot the national righteousness under the guise of humanitarianism, are really confused, even shameful!

Many Chinese people are keen to watch “sideshow news” about the assassination of Shinzo Abe, especially the political and strategic significance of the assassination of Shinzo Abe.

Although the real reason for Abe’s assassination is still unclear, as the longest serving prime minister since the Meiji Restoration and the leader of the largest faction in Japan’s Liberal Democratic Party, his assassination is definitely a political event, not a simple criminal case.

What Yamagata, what unified religion, all the public information you see is what those behind the plot want you to see. These information is essentially of no value to understand the truth of Abe’s assassination.

The truth of Shinzo Abe’s assassination, according to historical practice, will probably wait until 30 or 50 years later, when the parties themselves come out and make it clear.

However, the impact of Shinzo Abe’s assassination on Japanese politics has emerged.

On July 8, Shinzo Abe was assassinated.

On July 10, in the election of the Japanese Senate, among the 248 seats, the number of members supporting the constitutional amendment increased from 166 to 177, significantly exceeding the threshold of two-thirds majority required for constitutional amendment.

It is imperative for Japan to amend the constitution.

After World War II, American MacArthur gave Japan a so-called “Peace Constitution” that was “tailored”. Why is it called “Peace Constitution”? As a punishment for Japan’s war of aggression, this constitution “castrates” Japan’s national function. Among them, Article 9 clearly stipulates:

? The Japanese people sincerely seek international peace based on justice and order, and never give up the war, threat of force or exercise of force launched by national power as a means to resolve international disputes.

? In order to achieve the previous project, the army, Navy, air force and other war forces will not be maintained, and the belligerency of the country will not be recognized.

To put it simply, the constitution that the Americans “gave” Japan made it impossible for Japan to maintain its army and launch war.

On the surface, the Japanese regard MacArthur as the “supreme emperor”, but Japanese right-wing politicians, almost from the moment of defeat, are planning how to get rid of Japan’s defeated system and make Japan a “normal country”.

To curb Japan’s constitutional amendment efforts and prevent the rise of Japanese militarism, it is absolutely not possible to rely on the condemnation, appeal and persuasion of the victims of Japanese militarism, such as China, South Korea and North Korea. It depends on how loose Japan’s “master” – the United States is willing to put the “dog rope” around Japan’s neck.

What is the attitude of the United States towards Japan’s constitutional amendment?

The Washington Post recently commented that the United States should support Japan to amend the Constitution and turn the Japanese self defense force into an army.

At that time, the United States was also a victim of Japanese militarism. Japan’s sneak attack on Pearl Harbor is still one of the biggest wounds suffered by the United States in its history. Not to mention, in the brutal Pacific War, the Japanese army caused huge casualties and damage to the US Army.

As it is said, the United States also has reason and responsibility to firmly seal the ghost of Japanese militarism.

However, the United States today has a new plan.

Since trump, the United States has defined China as the number one strategic competitor and even a potential enemy. In order to contain China, the United States is now willing to open the Pandora’s box and release the ghost of Japanese militarism.

To put it more vividly, “the United States is ready to let dogs bite”.

Bite who? Bite China, of course.

A new geopolitical pattern is emerging in East Asia, and some trends have begun to emerge.

In order to contain China, the United States is gradually loosening the “dog rope” tied around Japan’s neck after World War II, so that Japan can better “bite” China.

Japan, by proving its value in cooperating with the U.S. containment strategy against China, is further striving for the United States to loosen the “dog rope”, and finally continues to move towards the goal of getting rid of the defeated system and becoming a “normal country”.

In this process, Japan very much hopes that the United States and Japan can work together to bring down China, so that Japan will have the opportunity to become the overlord of East Asia again.

So, a very strange scene appeared: the United States and Japan, the two deadly rivals who killed red eyes in World War II, now began to cooperate in order to contain China.

Of course, the two parties in collusion will also face the situation of having different dreams in the same bed.

Japan fantasizes that it will eventually become a “normal country” by cooperating with the U.S. containment strategy against China; But the United States just wants to loosen the “dog rope” around Japan’s neck a little, so that Japan can better “bite” China. The United States will never completely give up its control over Japan. Therefore, Japan is likely to “draw water with a bamboo basket in the end”.

However, for the United States, the strategy of “letting dogs bite” also faces great risks. Once the United States fails in the game between China and the United States, Japan will completely break away from the control of the United States, and the United States will “steal chicken instead of rice”.

Japan’s constitutional amendment is only the first step for the United States to implement the “dog biting” strategy against China in East Asia. In the medium and long term, the United States may also “ukrainize” Japan in the geopolitical pattern of East Asia, use Japan to implement the containment strategy against China, and even use Japan to fight a “proxy war” against China.

Now, everyone is paying attention to the Taiwan issue, and I am not worried about it. It is only a matter of time before China completes its national reunification, and the United States probably will not send troops directly. The United States only hopes that other countries will work hard for the United States and use it as consumables. The United States is not willing to work hard with China, a nuclear power, for “Taiwan independence”.

In the future, when China completely solves the Taiwan issue, the United States will probably treat Russia the same as it did after the conflict between Russia and Ukraine – adopting the response mode of “severe condemnation + extreme sanctions”.

What China should do is to refer to the “Hong Kong model”. After China introduced the Hong Kong national security law, the United States was once very “angry” and wanted to “punish” China. At that time, there was a rumor that the United States once wanted to prohibit American capital from investing in Hong Kong’s financial market, so as to destroy Hong Kong’s status as an Asian financial center. However, the trump administration finally failed to take this extreme action because of the extensive and huge interests of us Wall Street capital in Hong Kong.

What China needs to do now is to deepen reform and expand opening-up, and bind certain interests with the United States in this process. In this way, if China and the United States really have a showdown in the future because of the Taiwan issue, even if the U.S. government wants to take extreme measures against China, it will be difficult to start.

What I worry about is that after China completely solves the Taiwan issue, the United States may use the disputes between China and Japan on historical and territorial issues to provoke conflicts between China and Japan in East Asia Geopolitics, so as to achieve the strategic goal of “using Japan to control China”.

This possibility now seems to be far away, but if it is logically inferred, it is almost the inevitable choice of the future U.S. government.

Moreover, the United States implements the strategies of “letting dogs bite” and “using Japan to control China”, and the two “carrots” that tempt Japan are ready-made:

First, the United States will hint that as long as Japan desperately “bites” China, the United States will further loosen the “dog rope” around Japan’s neck, and even let Japan dream of becoming a “normal country” with it;

Second, before provoking the conflict between China and Japan, the United States will slap its chest and make guarantees like Ukraine, so that Japan feels that with the support of the United States, it can safely “fight alone” with China.

After the “Taiwan card”, the next card for the United States to contain China may be the “Japan card”.

If you look closely at the US Japan Security Treaty, you will find that the “common defense” in the US Japan military alliance is fundamentally different from NATO’s “collective defense”.

For the collective defense of “NATO”, it can be roughly understood that any country’s attack on any NATO member country will be regarded as an attack on all NATO members. Therefore, if other countries fight against one NATO country, they are equal to fighting all NATO countries.

However, the original text of the U.S. – Japan security treaty is: “each state party pledges to take action to deal with common dangers in accordance with the provisions and procedures of its constitution in the field of Japanese governance, if any party is attacked by force.”

What action will be taken? There was no clear explanation.

Is it because Americans forgot?

Of course not.

When the treacherous Americans gave the US Japan security treaty to the Japanese, they definitely did not give Japan a blank check of “life and death, advance and retreat together, and unconditional support”, but an ambiguous commitment.

For this reason, the United States plays the “Japan card” and “uses Japan to control China”. Even if it pushes Japan into war, the United States itself is not necessarily directly involved.

For the United States, all wars that the United States will not be directly involved in are the best wars.

Japan, a country with relatively poor strategic ability, often gambles on national luck, but loses more.

If the Japanese right wing is a little clearer, it will find:

First, the United States only uses Japan to contain China. For this reason, it can appropriately loosen the “dog rope” around Japan’s neck, but it will not let Japan, the American “dog”, gain real freedom;

Second, the United States only uses Japan as anti China consumables. If Japanese politicians are not clear headed, Japan will eventually become the second Ukraine.

For China, in the context of the game between China and the United States, the geopolitical pattern in East Asia is very dangerous, but there is not no “solution”:

First, the Chinese people must realize that under the background of qualitative changes in Sino US relations, the geopolitical pattern in East Asia is returning to the state after the war to resist US aggression and aid Korea. China, Russia and North Korea are on one side, and the United States, Japan and South Korea are on the other. The historical process of Sino Japanese reconciliation and Sino Korean reconciliation that took place after the beginning of Sino US reconciliation in the 1970s is coming to an end. The next five or ten years will be a very dark chapter in the geopolitics of East Asia;

Second, for China, the biggest advantage is time. I recently proposed that the period of strategic opportunities facing China’s development still exists, but in the future, the period of strategic opportunities facing China will no longer take 10 or 20 years as the stage, but one, two or three years as the stage. Recently, there has been frequent communication between China and the United States, and the two sides of the U.S. policy towards China have been exposed. This is the routine of the Biden administration’s “hypocrite fist”. For China, it is not afraid of it. If the United States wants to talk, China will talk. Talk about fighting, talk about fighting. As long as the United States can’t really decouple from China and dare not fight against China militarily, every year it delays, it will win an extra year of strategic opportunities for China. Biden seems to have made frequent moves in relations with China, but in essence, they are all “tricky fists and legs”. The Biden government is wasting time in the midst of internal and external difficulties. In the next two and a half years of his tenure, China still has the opportunity to strive for a period of strategic opportunities;

Third, in the face of Japan, time and potential are also on China’s side. China’s GDP is more than three times that of Japan. In the next five to ten years, it will probably reach five to six times that of Japan. Most importantly, the continuous development of China’s economy will further erode Japan’s advantages in automobiles, electronics, core components and raw materials in the future, which will not only lead to weak economic growth in Japan, but also gradually make the Japanese economy lose competitiveness as a whole. In the short term, if the United States pulls Japan to impose sanctions on Russia, Japan will suffer from Russia’s anti sanctions; And when the United States faces an economic recession or even a financial crisis, Japan will also be very injured.

Japan can be summed up in two sentences:

The first sentence is: “fear authority but don’t be virtuous, there are small rites but no righteousness”.

The second sentence is: “if China is strong, Japan will be an apprentice; if China is weak, Japan will be an enemy.”

What we need to do is to maintain strategic concentration, strategic patience and strategic wisdom, and do our own things well in a down-to-earth manner. If the consumption goes on, the United States will have problems sooner or later, and Japan will have problems sooner or later.

In the next 50 or 100 years, history probably won’t give “Japan as an enemy” another chance.

My expectation is that China will go step by step, and eventually be able to “subdue the soldiers without fighting” in the face of Japan or the United States. At that time, it was time for China to “persuade” Japan to turn the Yasukuni Shrine into a peace park. At that time, we can really say, “since modern times, the national fortunes of China and Japan have finally been completely reversed!”
