What is the real reason for the outbreak of war between Russia and Ukraine? Putin has now revealed the real reason. See below.

According to Russia, this issue is to counterattack NATO’s eastward expansion, which is also a popular mainstream saying in the market.

However, the author thinks that things are not so simple from the beginning.

The reason for this idea is that there has always been a question. If, according to the Russian side, the missiles (NATO) deployed to Ukraine can reach Moscow in less than 5 minutes, seriously threatening Russia’s security, what about the Baltic countries and Finland?

The distance from the Ukrainian border to Moscow is about 500 kilometers, Latvia is about 600 kilometers, Estonia is about 650 kilometers, Lithuania is about 700 kilometers, and Finland is about 800 kilometers. What is the difference between 600 km and 500 km when modern missiles are often several times the speed of sound? Even if it is 800 kilometers, there is only a difference of 32 minutes. If it is a hypersonic missile, there is only a difference of dozens of seconds. These countries are even closer to the important Russian town of St. Petersburg, only onehundredandtwohundred kilometers away.

Since Ukraine was beaten for the above reasons, should they be beaten together? But Russia did not. Even though Finland and Sweden have started the process of applying for NATO membership, Russia still “tolerated”, which shows that the real reason of the Russian Ukrainian war may not be what Russia claims.

Under this doubt, the author has always had a reservation that the real purpose of Russia’s sending troops to Ukraine is a territorial expansion of Russia.

Russia sees that the main force of the United States moves eastward to contain China and is unable to look to the West. It also sees that the United States does not dare to start a war with Russia, not to mention mutual destruction under the threat of nuclear weapons. Even if it only uses conventional forces, once it starts a war with Russia, the United States will no longer be able to contain China. Under such circumstances, Russia resolutely seized the opportunity to expand its territory.

The so-called “NATO’s eastward expansion” and the so-called “demilitarization and de Nazism” are just an excuse for Russia to become famous.

The author’s conjecture has been repeatedly proved later. Let’s look at several key events.

After Russia paralyzed Ukraine’s air defense military node, demilitarization was completed, but Russia did not stop;

After Russia destroyed the Asian speed camp, de Nazism was completed, but Russia still did not stop;

This shows that the purpose of Russia’s sending troops is not for the so-called demilitarization and de Nazism at all.

Now that Russia is close to winning the Donbas region, the “protection of ethnic Russians” advocated by Russia should also be realized. Can we stop? However, Russia still has to launch the third phase of military operations, and plans to continue to occupy Nikolayev, Odessa and Kharkov. This is obviously not the so-called “protection of Russian people”.

Therefore, the reason that Russia preached earlier should not be the real reason, but to promote its own territory expansion. The so-called counterattack against NATO’s eastward expansion, de Nazism, de militarization and protection of the Russian people are just an excuse to make itself famous. It just makes the Russian army appear to be a just and righteous army.

Today, Putin’s words have once again proved this conclusion, further proving the author’s earlier conjecture.

According to Reuters on June 9, Putin paid tribute to Czar Peter the great on the occasion of his 350th birthday. After visiting an exhibition honoring Peter the great, He said: “Peter the great has been fighting in the Great Northern War for 21 years. He seems to have taken away the territory in the war with Sweden. But he has taken nothing away. He has taken back (Russian territory)… Obviously, the responsibility for recovering and strengthening (territory) also falls on us. If we take these basic values as the basis for our survival, we will successfully solve the problems we face now.”

This passage can be simply summed up in one sentence: “Peter the great has recovered the land, and now it’s our turn!”

Under the current Russian Ukrainian war, when Putin explicitly said “reclaiming territory”, it is likely to point out the real purpose of Russia to launch the Russian Ukrainian war.

Before the exhibition, Putin also praised Peter the great as a tough military leader who greatly expanded Russian territory in the war with Sweden and the Ottoman Empire.

If Putin’s words are true, and if Russia’s ambition is to restore the territorial claims of Peter the great, this may mean that the war between Russia and Ukraine is not the end, but the beginning of a series of wars, including Poland, Georgia, Estonia, Sweden and Finland, in addition to Ukraine
