The Republic of Cuba is a small island country with an area of 11W square kilometers located in North America. It is not only revolutionary leaders like Castro and Che Guevara who are famous in China, but also the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962 is a major historical fact that can not be avoided in studying international geopolitics.
Cuba, formerly a Spanish colony, now uses the peso as its currency. Mexico, the Philippines, Chile, Uruguay and so on also use this currency name. What these countries have in common is that they were once colonies of Spain. But the Cuban Peso has long been different in that it has two monetary systems. It is divided into convertible pesos (for foreigners) and non convertible pesos (for domestic people). Convertible pesos are similar to foreign exchange certificates at the beginning of China’s reform and opening up.
This fully shows that the onshore and offshore systems are two systems. Because internal transactions and external transactions are two kinds of transactions.
Of course, the actual situation is much more complicated. Since Cuba became independent in 1959, Castro confiscated the assets of American capitalists in Cuba, so he has always been threatened by the United States. Later, the CIA of the United States organized the “Bay of pigs landing” to try to subvert the socialist regime in Cuba, but it failed. In fact, there was no feud between the United States and Cuba before, but because of the reasons mentioned at the beginning of the article, the American regime serves capitalists, and what Castro did is absolutely intolerable to the United States. But now, 60 years later, let’s take a look at Khrushchev, an important protagonist in this incident. As future generations, we all know that he is a traitor to the international communist movement. But also because of this, the inherent analysis results of the matter will be questioned. For western capitalism, aren’t traitors among us their friends?
In my opinion, the best actor is never in Hollywood. The Cuban missile crisis has always been portrayed as the most dangerous moment for the survival of mankind. Even on this point, Kennedy and Khrushchev, the two most important parties, have “identical” views. And everyone was in a cold sweat.
But one person is an exception! Yes, Chairman Mao.
After Khrushchev made a secret report at the 20th Congress of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and began to slander Stalin. Chairman Mao organized an anti Khrushchev revisionist movement in China. Since then, China and the Soviet Union have become hostile. The Soviet Union began its nuclear blackmail against China.
Of course, the face does not start to tear at once. We can ignore those entanglements at the beginning, we say the most important nodes.
From September 15 to 27, 1959, this was Khrushchev’s first visit to the United States, known as “13 days that shocked the world”.

Well, it can only be said that Khrushchev and Kennedy in the Cuban missile crisis jointly engaged in nuclear blackmail, and the object of blackmail was not Cuba for which we were blackmailed, but new China at that time.
The reason is also very simple. The original Soviet Union has begun to change and become revisionism. High ranking officials of the Soviet Union began to be greedy for pleasure and began to openly obey the Communist cause while secretly violating it. These people have begun to connect with Europe and the United States.
Cuba is just a small country, and it is completely under the United States’ noses. It does not pose a major threat to the United States at all. Even if it wants to fight a big war, it will not be so easy for the Soviet Union across the Pacific to take advantage of it. How can people snore on the side of the couch?
I know that some people will say that my mind is too wide. In fact, I have been enlightened. This is not the first time that the United States has done such a thing in the Cuban missile crisis. Some people are questioning that the atomic bombs dropped in Hiroshima and Nagasaki are not complete atomic bombs, but just some nuclear waste. Hiroshima and Nagasaki soon returned to normal in just a few years, while Chernobyl is still completely uninhabitable. Behind the scenes, Japanese chaebols and American capital have reached a compromise and deal.
This is completely in line with the facts we saw later. The Japanese chaebol consortium has not lost its economic control in Japan, and they are very cooperative with all actions of the United States, especially sparing no effort to curb the rise and development of China.
The United States is like an international mafia boss. It intimidates you whenever it can, because it costs the least. If it really wants to do it, it will only pick the persimmon and pinch it soft.
