Suxin’s bold and unconstrained
Su Xin and Yu Ci have indeed made pioneering contributions and made great achievements in this literary form. Think about it, before Su Xin, from the late Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties, from the word among flowers, represented by Wen Tingyun and Wei Zhuang, the words they wrote were the love of children and women in the boudoir; “When the words came to empress Li, their horizons began to expand.” the words of Bian linggong were the words of scholar bureaucrats. They had a deeper feeling and expanded the scope of the words, but on the whole, they did not break away from or open up a greater realm.

When it comes to Xin Qiji, what’s more, he has a unique style besides “cutting red and carving green”. What is Su Shi’s washing away of Qi Luo xiangze and Xin Qiji’s unique style?

Difference between Su and Xin
To read susin’s words, you don’t need to know much about them. You can read the difference between them.
What is Su Shi like? He is optimistic and open-minded. He is “as vast as Feng Xu, but he doesn’t know where to stop”. He is like Lao Zhuang, but looking at his political ideal, “there are thousands of words in his pen, thousands of volumes in his heart, to the Emperor Yao and Shun”, which is also Confucianism.
When I read Su Shi, especially when he was in a desperate situation, I often read such gossip stories as poems, words and articles, or quarreling with Su Xiaomei and fighting with monks, or his “study” of food. It was like beating a chicken’s blood.

At this time, I think he is a bit like Li Bai; However, “after looking at Wu Gou and photographing the railings, no one will come to his senses”. After all, he is Xin Jiaxuan. He has been worried about the country and the people all the time and is thinking of recovering his hometown. At this time, I think he has some shadow of Lao Du.
What’s more interesting is that when you read Su Shi, he can always burst out the most powerful force after bad luck. Once demoted, he will be demoted once. In Huangzhou, Huizhou and Danzhou, or he may have lost his relatives and missed his brother. In short, Su Dongpo can write the best works when he is most frustrated.
Sudongpo’s broad mindedness is also here. You see, he was demoted and studied local food. He was so poor that he invented a sheep and scorpion. However, once he returned to the Central Committee, he began to be upright again. What is this called? It’s called “reaching the world and helping the world, and being poor means being alone”. He can advance or retreat. It’s really not good. I’m happy to be a hermit like TaoYuanming.
Xin Qiji will not be able.
In Xin Qiji’s life dictionary, there is no word “retreat”. Xin Qiji is really like Du Fu. Old Du had been worried about the country and the people all his life. Shortly before his death, he was still “not a word for his family and friends, and there was a lonely boat for his old illness. The army was close to the north of the mountain, and there was tears and surpluses in the Pavilion”. They were both old and ill, and had no family and friends to accompany them. But he thought that the war-torn north of the army and the army had not yet been settled, so tears and surpluses ran rampant.
How could Xin Qiji not be? He was a northerner. Once master Wang could not locate the Central Plains in the north, he could not return to his hometown. All his life, he insisted on advancing and attacking, but never retreating. “For forty-three years, I still remember the flames of Yangzhou road.”. However, there are always some crafty and cunning people in the imperial court who want to force him to retreat and suppress him.
Xin Qiji wants to make great efforts to move forward, and others are trying to suppress it. The collision of these two forces has made Xin Qiji “raise your head to the clouds in the northwest, and lean on the sky for thousands of miles to have a long sword.”

Who is the first person?
Su Xin’s bold and unconstrained style is also their common ground. They have all opened up a new realm of Song Ci and achieved a bold and unconstrained school. However, they are not blindly bold and unconstrained, or even extensive. They are coarse and subtle, bold and unconstrained with tact, like a soft steel straight man.
The difference between Su and Xin lies in the will expressed in their respective words.
Sudongpo is a combination of Lao Zhuang and Confucianism. He is broad-minded and has ideals. He uses the world without being hard headed. He knows how to relieve himself from adversity. Therefore, there is a saying that “everyone loves Sudongpo”. He encourages you in good times and adversity. He gives you chicken blood every day, but not poisoned chicken soup. It is difficult for such a person to love or not.
Xin Qiji is an iron headed man. He has identified a goal of “recovering his homeland” and will never look back. People like him are boring. Like Dufu, old Du’s poems are boring to read. However, in any era, people like Xin Qiji are indispensable. Our nation can last for 5000 years because there are too many “iron headed” people like Xin Qiji, who will never admit defeat.
Su Shi and Xin Qiji are the same. They express their ideals in boldness. Su Shi and Xin Qiji are different. Su Shi, your old friend, will always inspire you to move forward. Xin Qiji is a hero and his blood will always be hot.
Therefore, it is meaningless to argue who is the first poet in Song Dynasty. To inherit their will and make ourselves and our country more beautiful and powerful is what we should do, isn’t it?
