The introduction of niusu, the Chinese myth of the twenty eight constellations, what is the first of the seven constellations in the north?

Spread the love

Niusu, niujinniu, one of the twenty-eight constellations in Chinese mythology, is the second of the seven constellations in the north. The name of the God, the Lord niusu, originates from the Chinese people’s natural worship of ancient stars. It is the product of the combination of ancient Chinese mythology and astronomy. It is named for its star cluster combination such as cowhorn, among which the most famous are Vega and Altair. Although the loyal love between Cowherd and Vega can make generations of people fall in love, it can’t escape the tragic ending in the end, so niusu is more fierce. The following China story network editor will bring you a detailed introduction. Let’s have a look!

Star official name

Niusu: it belongs to gold and is a cow. It is the second of the northern basaltic seven nights of fighting, cattle, women, emptiness, danger, room and wall. There are six stars, namely Capricorn ??? 2? ? 2??? ??? The six stars are named for their constellation combination, such as ox horn. Ancient Chinese astrologers observed the sky, measured the emperor’s family affairs with purple wall stars, and observed civil affairs with Dou and Niu stars. They believed that if the meteors appeared between Dou and Niu, there would be civil mourning, and if the stars were different, the days would change, and the world would be restless.

Niusuzhong River drum Sanxing was chased by the Chinese folklore that Cheng Niulang carried the two children born between him and the weaver girl to catch up with the weaver girl, giving it a very deep mythological color. The legendary love story of the Cowherd and the weaver girl is well-known in China, and the loyal love finally failed to escape the tragic outcome. Therefore, people believe that niusu is more fierce, niusu is on duty less profitable, and there are many disasters in all construction. Burial and construction use this day to sell all the farms without remembering the hills.

Cow, called morning glory in ancient times; Female, called Wu female or Xu female in ancient times. One said that the names of Niu Su and nu Su came from the two stars of Niulang and Zhinv. In the ancient poem “Altair from afar, Han women from Jiaojiao River”, the Altair refers to the three stars of the river drum (the second of the river drum is the cowherd). In 1978, the tomb of Marquis Yi of Zeng in the early Warring States period was excavated in suixian County, Hubei Province. Among the unearthed cultural relics, there is a lacquer box with the name of twenty-eight constellations on the cover of the box in seal script. Among them, cow and female two constellations write Petunia and Wu female. It can be seen that the names of these two constellations have a long history, not necessarily from the two stars of Cowherd and weaver girl.

Cattle and female are not very significant stars. In niusuzhong, niusuyi (Capricorn beta) and niusuer (Capricorn alpha) are third-class stars, and the rest are fifth and sixth class stars.

In addition to the main niusuxing officials, there are eleven star officials, including Tiantian, jiukan, Hegu, Zhinv, Zuoqi, Youqi, Tianyi, Luoyan, Niandao, and Jiantai.

Explain

Zhu Xi, a scholar in the Song Dynasty, talked about the twelve zodiac signs, saying, “in terms of the twenty-eight constellations, only dragons and oxen are combined, and he is not like them.” Ancient astronomy divided the twenty-eight constellations into four images and the seven constellations into one image, which has positional significance. Every night there is also an animal God. The twelve Earthly Branches and their zodiac signs are both ordinal numbers and a symbol system indicating spatial orientation. In terms of orientation, the two are comparable.

As Zhu Xi said, comparing the two systems, the 12 zodiac signs and the 28 constellations, there are only two items that are consistent: first, the dragon, whose position is in the East, and the green dragon and the seven constellations are also in the East; The second is Niu, the ugly cow, which overlaps with Niu su. “Only the dragon and the cow are combined”, but the “magnitude” of the two is different. The dark dragon, which combines the Chen dragon with the four elephants, is an Eastern Green Dragon composed of the seven constellations, a group army that deals with the twenty-eight constellations with a member of the twelve constellations; And the Eastern Green Dragon, lying on one side, has a large area, which can correspond to the orientation of the three zodiac animals Yin Hu, Mao rabbit and Chen long. It can be seen that this agreement is just the same in the small to the large and the general direction.

The combination of ugly cattle and cattle has accuracy, which can be called two-phase coincidence. The twelve Branches are located in the north and by East. Twenty eight constellations northern basaltic seven constellations lie horizontally in the northern sky, and are arranged from east to west, including Dou, Niu, NV, Xu, Wei, Shi, Bi seven constellations. These seven nights correspond to Hai, Zi and Chou. If you take the seat according to the number, the ugly cow is in Dou, Niu and nu Sansu; Sitting in the middle, taking into account both the left and the right, the ugly cow should sit in the seat of the cow. In the words of the five elements of righteousness of the Sui Dynasty, it is called “fooled niusu”.

Such a coincidence has created a special case of the twenty eight constellations — Taurus Taurus.

In the twenty-eight constellations, there are twelve zodiac animals, which are the virtual sun rat, Taurus, tail fire tiger, FangRi rabbit, Kang Jinlong, winged fire snake, xingri horse, ghost golden sheep, muzzle fire monkey, Pleiades chicken, Lou golden dog, and room fire pig. The composition of these names, take the virtual day rat as an example, the virtual is the name of the stars, the day is one of the seven Yao, and the rat is the image of the animal. Niujinniu, the first “cow” is the name of the constellation, and the last “cow” is the animal image of this constellation.

The name of the twenty-eight constellations, only one of which uses the animal name, is niuxiu. The ugly ox of the zodiac coincides with it in orientation, thus forming a double ox coincidence of “ox and Taurus”. This means that no matter the ox in the zodiac or the “ox” in the twenty-eight constellations, they are all based on the position of ugliness. There is also a coincidence that there is Taurus in the twelfth house of the zodiac in Babylon. Taurus, Taurus, two “golden” cows.

Significance

In the twelve palaces, niusuben was Petunia. Later, Petunia was used to refer to the three stars of Hegu, which is the Altair of AFA star in the constellation Aquila.

On Tanabata, the constellation Lyra of Altair and Vega forms a pair and shines in the middle of the sky in late August (July 7 of the lunar calendar). However, in the Indian 27 constellations astrology, there is no Lyra, but in the Chinese 28 constellations, the “Altair” is designated as one of the constellations.

Cowherd and Weaver Girl

Who doesn’t know the fairy story of Cowherd and Weaver Girl? Who doesn’t want to meet them in the summer night sky? Among the two carrying poles mentioned above, the big star (Hegu II) in the middle of the light carrying pole is Altair. The two little stars on both sides of the big star are the two children of Cowherd and weaving girl. When the weaver girl was driven to the west of the river by the queen mother, the cowherd picked up two children to chase after.

Cowherd is also called morning glory. Starting from the star in the south of the three stars of Hegu, draw a straight line through the middle big star, extend it by about six times, and then you can encounter a big blue and white star. It is very beautiful, and the more you see it, the more cute it is. That is Vega, who is alone on the West Bank of Tianhe. At the lower right of the Vega star, there are four small stars forming a parallelogram. This is her loom, which can be used to weave clouds in the sky.

Between the Cowherd and the weaver girl, there was a surging river, which forcibly separated the couple.

The Cowherd and Weaver Girl in the mythical world will cross the bridge built by magpies and meet across the river on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month. Altair and Vega in the stellar world are 16 light-years away. Even if you make a phone call, it will take 32 years to hear each other’s reply.

The shuttle is not far from the northeast of Altair. There are four small stars in a diamond shape like a shuttle, which is called “shuttle star” in Chinese folk. This shuttle is obviously the Weaver’s weaving tool. How did it get to the East Bank of the river? It is said that the weaver girl threw it away. This is called dolphin in the modern international constellation name, which has another story.

Niusu, the old cow led by the cowherd, helped a lot when the cowherd married the weaver girl. It also has its status in the starry sky, which is in Capricorn. Capricorn is a constellation in autumn. In summer, it is above the horizon in the southeast corner. Our country is called niusu. The one on the top is a binary star, which can be seen clearly with the naked eye, but it is actually a hexagram star. This cow has two horns (double stars), some shadows on its body, and no feet and tail at all. 6. One thing I would really like to say is always that before buying more personal computer memory, look at the machine into which it can be installed. Should the machine is actually running Windows XP, for instance, the memory threshold is 3.25GB. Using above this would merely constitute some sort of waste. Be sure that one’s motherboard can handle the particular upgrade quantity, as well. Great blog post.
