The next step forward is the unification of Wu, and the backward step is to continue the unification of peace.
Why do you think of the loneliness of giants? Because it is not easy to study the policies of giants. On the other hand, it is not easy for future generations to study those policies, so it is even more difficult to formulate these policies.
We should know that the policy of giants studied by later generations has a high fault tolerance rate, and even if the research is wrong, there will not be serious consequences. However, the historical giant has a very low fault tolerance rate when formulating policies. Because in that dimension, the consequences of any mistake can be very serious. At the same time, historical giants will encounter unprecedented pressure when formulating policies. This is the root of their loneliness.
In the cognition of many people, they think that the historical giant is omnipotent and worshipped infinitely; Others think that the giants of history are ruthless and emotionally repulsive. In fact, historical giants are also flesh and blood, and they also have the seven emotions and six desires of ordinary people. It is just that they stand higher than ordinary people, see farther, are more tenacious, and even act with iron and blood. So they can’t get rid of loneliness.
For example, when the initial emperor made the county system, the advantages outweighed the disadvantages from the perspective of the Empire, but for the old nobles at that time, the disadvantages outweighed the advantages. Just after the death of Qin Shihuang, the old nobles launched various riots. In that process, the Qin Shihuang family and even the whole Lao Ying family became victims. However, the system of prefectures and counties has laid the foundation of the history of great unification, and it is absolutely far-reaching.
Returning to Mao Zedong, in fact, many steps in his life were full of huge loneliness that was not understood.
When the cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party was in full swing, Mao Zedong went to make an investigation report on the peasants, which many comrades did not understand. Later, it was proved that only by solving the peasant problem can China’s problems be solved.
At the beginning, the incident of the Zhongshan warship broke out before the Kuomintang was purged. Only a few people, Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai, advocated a strong counterattack, which many comrades did not understand. It turned out that I had no choice but to pick up the gun.
After the Kuomintang purged the party, Mao Zedong decided to go to Jinggangshan to “find friends in the green forest” after the Autumn Harvest Uprising. Many comrades still did not understand. Later, it was proved that there was great potential in the mountains.
At the beginning of the land reform in Jinggangshan, many comrades did not understand it and were misunderstood as “Marxism Leninism in the mountain valley”. It was later proved that the Sinicization of Marxism Leninism can only be achieved at the grass-roots level.
At the beginning of the second cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party, Mao Zedong asked the officers and men of the Red Army to take off their uniforms and put on the uniforms of the national army. Many comrades still did not understand. Later, it proved that it was absolutely correct to cooperate with the national army and develop behind the enemy lines.
At the beginning of the war to resist U.S. aggression and aid Korea, it was Mao Zedong’s effort to defy all opinions and send troops, which many comrades did not understand. It was later proved that the New Republic must fight a war to establish itself.
Looking back on these historical fragments, we can clearly feel the loneliness of the historical giant. However, for most people, all choices made by the historical giant will be taken for granted, and they will not really understand the cause and effect of its loneliness.
Therefore, the historical giant is not a God. He has a huge loneliness, but everyone can’t see it or is unwilling to see it. Of course, compared with ordinary people, the loneliness of historical giants will be recorded by history. Because the loneliness of ordinary people is usually buried by trivia; And the loneliness of the historical giant will be transformed into various strategies and ideas for future generations to find.
Among the seekers in the future, most of them just join in the fun, and only a few experts who understand the ways can understand the loneliness of giants.
Of course, the understanding of later generations can not eliminate the loneliness that the historical giant once suffered, but it can alleviate the loneliness of the historical sky, carry forward the ideas of the historical giant, and maintain and repair the wheel of history.
