A friend asked, “what has Shinzo Abe left for China Japan relations?”
Simple answer: “nothing good.”
Shinzo Abe visited the Yasukuni shrine or offered sacrifices to the Yasukuni Shrine many times during his term of office. After leaving office, he visited the Yasukuni Shrine again and again, and repeatedly talked nonsense on the Taiwan issue, saying that “something in Taiwan is something in Japan”.
Abe is a typical right-wing politician in Japan after the war.
For Japanese right-wing politicians, the most painful place in their lives is that Japan was defeated in World War II, in fact, it was occupied by the United States military, and the political, diplomatic and military sovereignty of the whole country was castrated by the United States.
The post-war “Peace Constitution” of Japan, for Japanese right-wing politicians, is a humiliating political arrangement imposed by the United States on Japan as a defeated country in World War II, which has completely deprived Japan of the function of a “normal country”.
The ultimate goal of Japanese right-wing politicians must be to “amend the constitution”, lift the ban on collective self-defense, turn the Japanese self defense force into a normal army, and make Japan a “normal country”.
What is a “normal country”, that is, a country with complete sovereignty, can have a normal army, and can participate in foreign wars alone or collectively.
The biggest obstacle for Japan to become a “normal country” is not what protests, condemnations, vigilance and appeals the victims of Japanese militarism, such as China and South Korea, now make, but how much the United States is willing to open the dog rope around Japan’s neck and how much the United States is willing to loosen the hand holding Japan’s testicles.
How can Japan persuade the United States to loosen the dog rope? Relax your hand holding the Japanese testicles?
The only way is to prove to the United States that if the United States loosens the dog rope, Japan can better help the United States “bite”.
Who will Japan bite for the United States?
China, of course.
To become a normal country, on the one hand, Japan should create a “China Threat Theory” in Japan, incite the Japanese people to hate, hate and fear China, and rally public opinion for the amendment of the constitution. After all, many Japanese still have fresh memories of Japan’s militaristic path in history, which eventually led the country to destruction. Public opinion in Japan is also a constraint on right-wing politicians; On the other hand, in order to get rid of the dog rope tied around Japan’s neck by the United States, Japan must strive to cooperate with the United States’ strategy of containing China, proving that Japan, as a dog kept by the United States in East Asia, has its special military and strategic value.
Therefore, it is not surprising that Japanese right-wing politicians and media continue to incite the Japanese people to hate, fear and hate China; It is no surprise that Japanese right-wing politicians continue to provoke confrontation with China over the Nanjing Massacre, comfort women, Yasukuni Shrine, Diaoyu Islands and other historical and territorial issues.
What Japanese right-wing politicians want is this effect: internally, Japanese citizens can support the amendment of the Constitution and support Japan to become a “normal country” on the basis of hatred and Anti China sentiment; Externally, it can prove to the United States that Japan can “bite China” for the United States.
More importantly, Abe is not alone in “tossing”. Behind him, he represents the political force of the Japanese right wing and its broad public opinion base.
Whether Abe is on stage, off stage, alive or dead, he cannot change the historical trend of the rise of the right-wing trend of thought in Japanese society, nor can he change the vicious strategy of the Japanese right-wing colluding with the Anti China forces in the United States to contain China.
Over the past 50 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Japan, China Japan relations are undergoing fundamental changes. Behind this change, it is not that China wants to contain, suppress and invade Japan, but that Japan is desperately “biting China” in pursuit of becoming a so-called “normal country”, rallying public opinion internally and praying for the United States to loosen the dog rope externally.

——Japan will actively participate in the vicious action of the United States to accurately crack down on China’s economy in the supply chain.
Now, the three factors that have the greatest impact on China Japan relations are:
First, how much role the United States is prepared to let the dog of Japan play in “biting China”;
Second, how fast and how far the Japanese right wing can go on the road of amending the constitution to make Japan a “normal country”;
Third, Japan and China are intertwined in the industrial chain, supply chain and value chain. How can Japan achieve decoupling at the least cost and then participate in the economic sanctions and blockade of the United States against China.
For Japan, especially the Japanese right-wing politicians, the Chinese people may have long been disillusioned.
When the Japanese Prime Minister visits the Yasukuni Shrine, it is useless for China to just protest. In the future, China will solve this problem, either directly destroy the Yasukuni Shrine in the war, or defeat Japan. The Chinese people’s Liberation Army will land in Japan and transform the Yasukuni Shrine into a peace park.
For Japan to cooperate with the U.S. containment strategy against China, in order to prove its strategic value as a dog of the United States, what China should do is to prepare a dog beating stick, and when attacked by a vicious dog, it will teach the vicious dog to be a man.
In addition, I have previously proposed that another trick for Japan is to “beat the owner to the dog”. As long as China wins the game between China and the United States, successfully completes national reunification, and drives the hegemonic forces of the United States out of East Asia, Japan will become a “lost dog” and be in constant panic.
Finally, I personally conclude that one day, the United States will suffer a tragic defeat in the game between China and the United States, and Japan will soon change its face and begin to mend with China. This time, we must not make the mistakes of 50 years ago, but must severely attack, contain and retaliate against Japan. After all, for Japan, this country has been “fearing authority but not virtue, with small gifts but no righteousness” since ancient times.
Finally, if someone asked me whether ordinary Chinese people should express sympathy, condolences or happiness if Shinzo Abe died, I would say, let it be.
If a person who visits the Yasukuni Shrine dies, he should die. The words of humanitarian condolences should be handed over to the official. As an ordinary people, you should eat meat, drink wine, and be happy. Just set off firecrackers. We can’t bear the hat of political correctness.
