7. Maitreya Bodhisattva · lion

The strongest mount that Buddha has surrendered is naturally the Golden Peacock King who devoured the Buddha during his practice in the snow mountain, that is, the Buddha mother peacock Mingwang Bodhisattva. However, it is clearly recorded in the Sutra of observing Maitreya Bodhisattva’s birth to Dou lead the Buddha: “twelve years later, Maitreya ascended to Dou lead the heaven in the Baltic state… And his body relic… When he led the heaven, he sat in the seven treasure platform, on the mani hall, on the lion’s bed, and suddenly changed into life… He sat on the Chinese throne with all the sons of heaven, and at six o’clock in the day and night, he turned the big wheel of the law to save the sons of heaven.”

If Maitreya Bodhisattva has nothing to do with the lion, why is he reincarnated in the lion’s bed? Obviously, the lion is a fellow disciple of Maitreya and is the mount of Maitreya Bodhisattva.
