Why did the burning ancient Buddha help the monkey king and Tang monk? Why?

Friends familiar with the journey to the West know that when Tang Monk arrived at the blissful Tathagata in the west, he thought that he would get the Scriptures smoothly and return to the Tang Dynasty. Unexpectedly, there was a dramatic scene. He was fooled by two Scripture readers. What was the matter?

According to the meaning of the Tathagata, Tang Monk and Sun Wukong came to the place where the Scriptures were stored and reached out for them. But at this time, ah Nuo and Jia Ye, who were reading scriptures, said: the holy monk Dongtu is here. Who will send us? Take it out quickly so that I can preach the Scripture to you.

This is to understand the meaning of taking advantage fees and kickbacks.

Monk Tang also looked puzzled and thought: I’m going to strangle you. Do those who become Buddhas and gods also play this routine?

But the Tang Monk patiently replied: My disciple Xuan Zang came from a long way, and I never prepared for it.

Nuo and Gaye were upset at this time, thinking that you were adults anyway. Why are you so unworldly? You don’t understand this truth? So I sneered: “OK, OK, OK!”! Pass on the Scriptures to the next generation, and the descendants will starve to death!

Although a Nuo and Jia Ye were afraid that Sun Wukong would hit them with Ruyi golden cudgel and reluctantly gave the Scriptures to Tang monk, they secretly played with Yin in their hands, only gave some useless wordless scriptures to Tang monk, and did not pass on the worded scriptures according to the meaning of Tathagata.

Fortunately, there was a good man who heard the dialogue between Tang Monk’s master and disciple and a Nuo and Jia Ye, who was the ancient Buddha who lit the lamp.

Anyone familiar with the setting of the journey to the West knows that the ancient Buddha who lit the lantern is the predecessor of the Tathagata, belongs to the past Buddha, has been in charge of the Buddha world for countless years, and has returned to pass the throne to the Tathagata. His seniority is even higher than that of Tathagata.

The understanding ancient Buddha who lit the lantern knew at a glance that a Nuo and Jia Ye had no good intentions and passed on the wordless scriptures to Tang monks. So he sighed: the monks in eastern China are so confused that they don’t know the wordless Scripture, but they don’t waste the holy monk’s journey?

Otherwise, the old monk was a good man. He couldn’t bear to waste his efforts to learn scriptures, so he asked his subordinates Bai xiongzun to stop Tang Monk Sun Wukong and remind them that there was something wrong with the Scriptures. This led to the story of Sun Wukong returning to the Buddha to get the Scriptures.

In the final analysis, it is the ancient Buddha who knows the Buddha too well and knows that everything behind this is actually the inspiration of the Buddha. If Tathagata can hide this careful thought from others, he can certainly hide it from the ancient Buddha who lit the lamp.
